Shalom is such a loaded word.  I first took notice of this Hebrew word when I was in 3rd or 4th grade Sunday School.  We spent an entire morning learning about the word.  Since then I’ve begun to dig deeper in the meaning.  I’ve read a few books on the word, and have had discussions with different people about it.  I’ve decided to bind the word to my skin, so I can always remember the peace that God provides.  A peace that can only come from Him, so powerful I know I’ll never quite comprehend it.

With all this being said, I’ve found some discrepancies on how the Hebrew is written.  And before I make this commitment, I want to make sure what goes on my arm is 100% accurate.  This is where you (the reader) comes in.  Do any of you know Hebrew?  Or have a resource for me to look into to verify this?  Here are a couple samples I have.  The characters are a little different, and each set is a different “font.”  Click to enlarge.  For some reason they wouldn’t fit directly in this post format.  (It links to Flickr).  Your feedback is much appreciated!
