When I was little…

May 19, 2008

When I was little I was fascinated how it was not the same time in California and in Japan (or insert any other country here).  My family took a trip to my great uncle’s farm in New York when I was younger.  My dad had to join us a few days after our arrival because of work.  I remember staying up late to watch the local news in New York in order to write down the winning lottery numbers.  I called my dad to give him a heads up so we’d get rich.  If it were only that easy.  I thought I was the smartest person in the world, and I couldn’t believe that no one else thought of it.  Of course my dad then explained to me how this information didn’t help him.  Oh well.

  1. Yeah right. I bet your dad won all that money and has it buried in a pirate’s chest in your backyard!
